Warrenton Oil Company has named Mary Banmiller, former senior director of retail operations, as its new CEO, according to a Thursday announcement.
Banmiller succeeds former president and CEO Wayne Baker, who is stepping into a “smaller role” with the family-owned company, according to the announcement.
Baker will remain Warrenton’s chairman and plans to “remain engaged at a strategic level, continuing to focus on growth opportunities for the company,” according to the announcement.
“Mary is my secret weapon,” Baker said in the announcement. “She demonstrates a true passion for the values, goals and mission of our family-owned business and I look forward to the future under her leadership.”
As senior director of retail operations, Banmiller helped oversee Warrenton’s FastLane c-store banner as well as its company-operated hotels.
In addition to Banmiller’s promotion, Warrenton has named Dana Moloney, former director of finance for the c-store retailer, as its new chief operating officer. Moloney has been with Warrenton since 2014 and worked in the company’s foodservice, transportation and finance departments before being named COO, according to her LinkedIn bio.
Warrenton, Missouri-based Warrenton Oil operates around 60 FastLane convenience stores in central and eastern Missouri, many of which offer touchless bathrooms, self checkout and drive-thrus. The company also owns foodservice operations as well as hotels and the WOCO transportation company. The c-stores also include FastLane Pup Parks for off-leash canines at two locations, and a dog wash at one store.
