Dive Insight:
Nashville, Tennessee-based Tri Star tested Twice Daily’s new foodservice program two summers ago at select locations. Less than two months later, the company rolled out the offerings throughout its entire c-store network, which includes over 200 locations across Tennessee and Alabama.
The menu includes made-to-order subs and other sandwiches and burgers, as well as empanadas, breakfast foods and snacks across all dayparts. This past March, Tri Star expanded the menu to include a variety of customizable wraps, such as turkey and Swiss, Italian, ham and cheddar, and Nashville Hot Chicken.
Twice Daily’s food offerings also include grocery items and a fresh deli case that features fruits, cold sandwiches and salads. The retailer also has an extensive bakery line of doughnuts and other pastries.
Meanwhile, White Bison’s coffee products include drip coffee, single-origin pour-over coffees, cold brew, nitro coffee, hot and cold espresso beverages, seasonal drinks and more. Guests can also order pastries and handmade breakfast and lunch items, including sandwiches, salads and bistro snack boxes, via White Bison.
Making all of these items available for delivery lets Tri Star extend its reach to new customers, Eric Rush, the company’s marketing director, said in the announcement.
“There are times when our guests are craving something from Twice Daily and White Bison but can’t make it to us,” he said. “Now they don’t have to worry, we will come to them.”
