Sheetz has promoted three longtime leaders at the company to the executive vice president level, according to a recent announcement.
Emily Sheetz, a second-generation leader at the convenience store chain, has been named executive vice president of strategy and information technology. In her position, Sheetz will oversee the company’s 250 strategy, IT and innovation employees, including those who work in Sheetz’s Pittsburgh office.
Additionally, she will formalize the company’s strategic planning processes, forge new working relationships and synergies across the organization and focus on innovation, according to the announcement.
Other roles Sheetz previously held at her family’s convenience store company included director of talent development, director of special projects and associate vice president of strategy, according to her LinkedIn bio.
Another second-generation member of the company, Ryan Sheetz, has been promoted to executive vice president of marketing and supply chain. In this role, he will oversee Sheetz’s annual marketing strategies and go-to-market plans, as well as its distribution services and Sheetz Brothers Kitchen operation.
Third, Sheetz promoted Trevor Walter to executive vice president of petroleum supply management. In his new role, Walter will continue his previous duties of acquiring Sheetz’s petroleum offerings and steering its electric vehicle charging program, and will now also lead and direct Sheetz’s supply chain policies, objectives and initiatives.
Walter will also lead the team that manages Sheetz’s internal and external logistics and control processes, and will oversee the company’s domestic sourcing of material and services, and transportation.
Other roles Walter has held at Sheetz through the years included director of petroleum trading and assistant vice president of commodities trading, according to his LinkedIn bio.
Altoona, Pennsylvania-based Sheetz operates more than 710 convenience stores across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland.
