Dive Insight:
While this is RaceTrac’s first site in Ohio, it has more plans for the state, including a store in Delaware, Ohio, that follows a new prototype design.
“RaceTrac’s first store in Ohio is a significant milestone for our growing company,” said Melanie Isbill, chief brand officer at RaceTrac. “The region's vibrant economy and welcoming communities present a tremendous opportunity for our innovative approach and dedication to delivering convenience that we trust will resonate well with Ohioans.”
The Findlay store offers RaceTrac’s array of grab-and-go foods, including pizza, sandwiches, cut fruit, salads and roller grill options like Nathan’s hot dogs and Tornados. It also has a Swirl World frozen yogurt and sorbet station and the company’s “Crazy Good Coffee” in six blends.
Additionally, the site offers CAT scales and tractor trailer parking.
This latest expansion comes as RaceTrac upgrades and streamlines a number of its technical systems, including forecourt monitoring and automated hot- and cold-case temperature monitoring.
RaceTrac currently has more than 800 stores in 14 states operating under its main banner and RaceWay brand.
