Parker’s Kitchen, which is in the early stages of a four-year, 75-store expansion plan, announced four new team members in a variety of positions across the company, according to a Friday press release.
The group brings deep experience in the c-store industry, with three having worked for years at major industry players like 7-Eleven and Circle K.
“We’re thrilled to welcome these experienced, respected convenience industry professionals to our growing team at Parker’s Kitchen,” said Parker’s Kitchen President Brandon Hofmann. “We’re confident that they will help us achieve our operations, facilities, food service and financial goals for 2024 and beyond.”
- Doug Crew, Parker’s new director of facilities maintenance, has more than 31 years of c-store experience. Much of that time was spent with Speedway in a variety of roles, including construction program manager and manager of corporate maintenance. His most recent role was senior manager of corporate maintenance for 7-Eleven, a role he held for more than two years, according to his LinkedIn bio. In his new role, Crew will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and support for all store equipment, structures and grounds, according to the press release.
- Katie Demby joins the company as its food service category manager. After beginning her career in communications and marketing roles at several companies, Demby joined Circle K in 2014, according to her LinkedIn bio. There, she worked in a variety of jobs, including category analyst and assistant brand manager, with her most recent position being the company’s foodservice category manager and assistant brand manager. She will oversee food and beverage programs for Parker’s. She is responsible for implementing new product development, maintaining brand and safety standards and achieving revenue goals.
- Chris Everson joins Parkers as senior category manager overseeing tobacco products, lottery, propane and other departments. He comes to that role after nearly two years as a category manager for Circle K, where he was responsible for inside sales, according to the press release. Before that, he spent more than six years in a variety of roles with Reynolds American Inc., a subsidiary of tobacco company British American Tobacco.
- Tyler Duckworth is a new financial analyst for Parker’s, offering financial insight, preparing monthly financial reviews, collaborating with department heads to plan budgets, performing ROI analytics on capital projects and maintaining in-depth cash flow data, according to the press release. Before joining Parker’s, he worked as a financial analyst at Green Cubes Technology, a lithium battery manufacturer.
