Parker’s Kitchen has appointed president Brandon Hofmann as CEO, effective immediately, the convenience retailer announced on Monday. He is the second CEO in Parker’s 49-year history, replacing founder Greg Parker, who officially transitioned to executive chairman.
Hofmann’s move to CEO is no surprise, as the company outlined earlier this year that he would replace Greg Parker at some point in 2025. However, the convenience retailer was not ready at the time to confirm when the leadership change would take place.

Hofmann has spent about a quarter century with Savannah, Georgia-based Parker’s. He joined the company in 1997 as a third-shift customer service representative and eventually worked his way up to manage the company’s operations, marketing strategy and popular Southern-style foodservice program.
Hofmann was chief operating officer prior to being named president in 2021. As president, Hofmann spearheaded Parker’s store operations, foodservice, fuel, maintenance and marketing platforms.
John Rudolfs, Parkland’s former chief development officer, has replaced Hofmann as president. Rudolfs has also been named chief financial officer.
Both Hofmann and Rudolfs will report to Greg Parker, according to an emailed announcement from the company.
Greg Parker was one of the longest-tenured CEOs among both regional and national c-store chains in the U.S. He has also been one of the industry’s more prominent leaders over the years, having been vice chairman of research for NACS, chairman of the BPAmoco Marketers Association, and a member of both the Pepsi Retail Advisory Council and Coca-Cola Retail Advisory Committee.
Parker’s growth plans have been a point of focus lately as the company, which is closing in on 100 locations, aims to surpass 150 stores in the next two years.
Parker’s also promoted several other executives last week, including John Rhine, the company’s new senior vice president of finance and accounting; Scott Smith, VP of information technology; and Tom Rutledge, senior director of construction.
This story has been updated to reflect that John Rudolfs has been named CFO and replaced Brandon Hofmann as president of Parkland.
