- The partnership marks a stepping stone for Par Mar’s delivery and order-ahead system, which services hundreds of convenience stores and dozens of QSRs.
Dive Insight:
Par Mar gave Lula’s platform a test run in early 2023. According to the announcement, the pilot “generated strong demand and received positive customer feedback,” which sparked the convenience retailer to launch it across more of its network.
Lula’s platform will also sync with Par Mar’s delivery and order-ahead platforms, which includes Uber Eats, DoorDash, GrubHub, Seamless and Postmates, according to the announcement.
Par Mar operates roughly 250 convenience stores and numerous QSRs such as Subway, Dairy Queen, Arby’s, A&W and IHOP across its home state of Ohio as well as in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Virginia and Maryland. Lula’s platform is now live in over 100 Par Mar stores across Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland, Adit Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Lula, said in a statement to C-Store Dive.
This continues a busy past year for Lula, which has made its way into several convenience retailers in recent months, including Clipper Petroleum, Jacksons Food Stores and convenience QSR Chicken King.
