Onvo has named Stephanie Mihal as its new chief financial officer, the company announced in a LinkedIn post on Wednesday. She took on the new role in January, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Before joining Onvo, Mihal spent her career with accounting firm McGrail Merkel Quinn & Associates, starting as a supervisor and working her way up to partner. She has more than 20 years of experience as a certified public accountant.
Earlier versions of Onvo’s leadership page did not include a CFO. Representatives from Onvo did not respond by press time when asked if she is the company’s first CFO.
Mihal joins Onvo amid significant changes to its assortment and store design strategies. Onvo launched its own fresh food program, Food on the Fly, about a year ago. The menu features the company’s new Craveritos, bowls and sides, and offers meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner.
It also debuted its own private label fuel and self-branded gas station in July and continues opening stores, including its largest to date — at 10,000 square feet — in October.
