National Convenience Distributors, which offers c-store-specific products and services to 23,800 retailers in the eastern U.S., has named Patrick Dillon as its new vice president of foodservice, according to a Feb. 21 announcement.
Dillon will lead NCD’s many foodservice-focused programs, which span the hot foods, coffee, private label, frozen beverages, baked goods, deli, equipment and supplies categories, according to NCD’s website. NCD’s foodservice arm also has a test kitchen where retailers can try out their new products and services before rolling them out.
Dillon brings over two decades of experience in the c-store and oil and gas industries to NCD. His experience has included the conception, design, implementation and supervision of both small- and large-scale foodservice programs from c-store brands such as Alltown Café, Ladson Grill, Laredo Taco Company, Red Kap Café and The Market at AC&T. He worked with c-stores of all types.
Additionally, Dillon has worked on the franchising end with brands such as Dunkin Donuts, Honey Dew Donuts, Tim Horton’s, Papa John’s, McDonald’s, and Subway.
“Pat’s twenty plus years of experience and industry knowledge will be an asset to our company and customers,” NCD said in its announcement.
Dillon has succeeded Adam Kramer, who recently stepped down after 19 years with NCD to pursue other opportunities.
Kramer help drive the development of several of NCD foodservice programs over the years, including its Mighty Chicken and My Pie brands.
