Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores has promoted two leaders to its executive team as the new year approaches.
Effective Jan. 3, Ashley Gockstetter and Tim Doty will begin their roles as Love’s vice president of customer experience and vice president of corporate development and growth initiatives, respectively, a company spokesperson confirmed.
In the newly created customer experience role, Gockstetter will oversee several teams, including the company’s retail solutions analytics, customer experience and customer product, and loyalty and partnership teams, the spokesperson said.
Gockstetter has held various roles since joining Love’s in 2018. Most recently, she was the company’s director of customer strategy, loyalty and analytics.
Prior to joining the convenience retailer, Gockstetter held numerous customer-experience focused roles across a variety of companies, including Walgreens, Nielsen and data science firm Dunnhumby, according to her LinkedIn bio.
As vice president of corporate development and growth initiatives, Doty will lead Love’s real estate department. He will also continue managing its corporate development and aviation teams, which he had already been doing in his previous role as director of corporate development.
Doty and his teams will pursue organic and inorganic growth opportunities through acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and product and asset development, the spokesperson said.
Doty joined Love’s in 2009 and has since navigated the company through several key growth projects, the spokesperson said. According to his LinkedIn bio, Doty has held numerous roles at Love’s over the past 14 years, including director of administration, assistant general counsel and senior corporate counsel.
