- Jacksons is the latest retailer updating its digital presence, joining companies like Yesway and Loop Neighborhood Market in making their apps more robust and useful for customers.
Dive Insight:
Getting loyalty programs right is important because once customers are engaged, research shows they are far more loyal to their favorite convenience stores than they are to restaurants, with the best-performing stores seeing 85% or more of loyalty customers returning at least once a month, according to Paytonix data.
Jacksons’ loyalty program was overhauled by PAR Retail, which integrates the capabilities of both Stuzo and Punchh, two rewards and loyalty companies PAR acquired in recent years. That division is focused on loyalty, digital customer service, payments and on-site engagement.
Jacksons Food Stores’ President Cory Jackson said these updates put Jacksons “on the leading edge of industry technology.”
The new loyalty platform lets customers earn 10 “stars” for every $1 they spend. People can trade the stars in for a variety of rewards, including more healthy options.
Technological improvements give Jacksons the ability to offer more creative rewards that better reflect customer preferences and broader campaigns, the company said. This includes being able to expand the incentives the company can offer to individual shoppers.
In addition to the new Let’s Go Rewards program, Jacksons’ new digital ecosystem also includes next-generation apps and web integrations.
