Terri Micklin, president of GetGo Café + Markets, the c-store arm of supermarket chain Giant Eagle, has left the company, Micklin announced via email.
Micklin said that she’s “no longer actively part of the business” as GetGo prepares to integrate its 270 convenience stores into Alimentation Couche-Tard, parent of Circle K, which agreed to acquire GetGo last August for $1.6 billion. The deal is expected to close sometime this year.
In a statement to C-Store Dive, a Giant Eagle spokesperson said that Micklin officially left the company in March. It’s unclear if Micklin left of her own accord or if Giant Eagle parted ways with her.

“On behalf of everyone at Giant Eagle and GetGo, we thank Terri for everything she has contributed to help build the GetGo business into what it is today, and we wish her the best in her future endeavors,” Giant Eagle’s spokesperson said.
In an interview with C-Store Dive last October, Micklin — who had been GetGo’s president since April 2023 and was the company’s SVP of development and strategy for a year before that — declined to comment when asked if she and GetGo’s leadership team were set to join Couche-Tard once the deal closes.
Although it’s unclear when the decision was made, Micklin has now confirmed that she’s not part of GetGo and Couche-Tard’s future plans.
“I want to express how incredibly proud I am of the GetGo team and their remarkable evolution in the convenience store business,” Micklin said. “Their relentless drive, innovation, and teamwork have positioned them as leaders in the industry. I have every confidence that this talented team will propel Circle K forward in their growth and success.”
Micklin added that GetGo’s Vice President of Operations Mike Maraldo “will be leading the future business unit.” Giant Eagle’s spokesperson also confirmed this shift.
“[Maraldo] joined the GetGo leadership team three years ago, and in this role, he was instrumental in driving our performance excellence and guest service culture,” Giant Eagle’s spokesperson said.
Maraldo has been with Giant Eagle for nearly three decades, according to his LinkedIn bio. He became GetGo’s VP of operations in 2015 and held several regional director and management positions with the retailer before that.
