Foxtrot, the upscale convenience retailer that rose from the ashes of a bankruptcy last year, has added digital ordering at its two recently reopened c-stores in Dallas, a company spokesperson said on Wednesday.
Customers can now use the Foxtrot app to order for pickup or delivery in the Dallas metro area. Most pickup orders are ready within 30 minutes, while delivery may take up to an hour, the spokesperson said.
Foxtrot’s Dallas sites — in the Knox/Henderson and University Park neighborhoods — feature the banner’s reimagined food program, including exclusive coffee blends, breakfast tacos, panini sandwiches, bowls and fresh cookies.
The stores’ spirits collection can also only be accessed through the app.
Foxtrot’s rebirth follows a difficult 2024. Outfox Hospitality, the parent company of both Foxtrot and Dom’s Kitchen & Market, unexpectedly shut down and filed for bankruptcy last April. In May, the company sold the assets for 15 of its c-stores to a holding company in a public auction. The company reopened its first site, in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, in September and restarted delivery in that city the following month.
The company currently expects to reopen 15 stores, Foxtrot Chairman Mike LaVitola said in an interview with C-Store Dive in June. It currently has seven stores operating in Dallas and Chicago, with plans to reopen some Austin sites as well.
