Dive Insight:
Ogden, Utah-based Fast Stop’s latest acquisition in Davis County places the retailer in firm competition with Maverik and 7-Eleven, both of which already have a sizable footprint in the region.
Besides Utah, Fast Stop operates stores across Wyoming, Idaho, Nebraska and Colorado. Its latest move brings its total store count to 51.
Last October, Fast Stop acquired all nine of Common Cents Stores’ southeastern Idaho locations. Those stores offer Exxon-branded fuel. To date, Fast Stop operates 19 locations in Idaho, more than any other state in its network.
In February, Fast Stop acquired a Conoco Travel Plaza with a convenience store in Meadow, Utah, marking Fast Stop’s first location in that city. The plaza and c-store are a combined 4,400 square feet and offer 18 fueling stations for cars and one for semi-trucks.
MWCRE worked with Fast Stop on all three acquisitions. Neither the real estate company nor Fast Stop responded by press time to an inquiry for more details on its latest acquisition in Davis County.
