Dive Insight:
7-Eleven’s latest launch comes a couple months after the convenience retailer debuted its golf-inspired merchandise collection, which included clothing items like shirts, hats and socks, as well as golf-related gear such as balls and tees.
The convenience retailer’s latest holiday merchandise collection includes 7-Eleven and Slurpee-themed knit sweaters, beanie hats and cord caps. For accessories, the new lineup includes custom printed wrapping paper and gift bags, tumblers and ceramic mugs, and a new Cars of 7-Eleven ornament.
7-Eleven has also debuted 7Collection e-gift cards, which are redeemable for any merchandise on its website.
The company chose its latest merchandise lineup to “capture the spirit of the season,” Marissa Jarratt, executive vice president, chief marketing and sustainability officer for the retailer, said in the announcement.
“We curated this collection with all of our brand fans in mind — car accessories for car lovers, beverage holders for Big Gulp and coffee drinkers and new apparel for fashion aficionados,” Jarratt noted.
About a year after launching its merchandise shop, 7-Eleven’s “best sellers” on the clothing side include its Car Club t-shirts, racing jackets, socks, button-down T-shirt, Pac Man jacket, bucket hat, bomber jacket and more, according to the company’s website.
On the accessories side, best sellers include bottle openers, decals, Slurpee key chains, wrapping paper, sticker packs, tote bags, coffee tumblers and a soft cooler.
